Heaven on Wheels 9 - March 25th 2012 - booking thread - Train details in First Post

I've checked it pout on the Euro Tunnel site, basically as last year leaving on one of the trains between 12-13.59 on the Saturday and returning between 20.00-21.59 on the Sunday! Think this was the same as last year and worked out okay I reckon!

Everyone up for that, will be £58 in total for the trains!

ye same times worked well last year. not a fan of getting home early hours then driving to brecon mind

£50 for hotel and fery for me - cant complain!

I didn't find the driving too bad last year, was only the last stretch on the way home really as you say!

Yep, can't fault that! I'd spend a lot more on a normal night out in Cardiff tbh! Haha

how about plan it and not try fit all of us in 2 cabs, get on a bus going another direction or a train we have no idea where it was going?

I know how to talk to taxi drivers. It involved alot of impersonations alot of use of the word fuck :-D it was partly me trying not to be sick in the taxi...

If it's you and your missus you might be better off booking one of the 2 person rooms in the same place as us. They're 55 euros for the room so like £47 atm, then the train will be £58. So that would £52 each all in if my maths are right. Tis a god weekend

In terms of rooms, I don't think it really matters who goes where aside from Nick's group who have a 4 perosn room booked, but I was thinking that maybe 2 of either Jeff, Jon or Alex bunk up with Allen and his +1 as I'm guessing you might know them? Can sort it out there anyway

So 14 of us so far, Chiddy is booking a 2 person room himself and there are a few more who may be booking 2 person rooms so we could just fill the whole apartments!
