250bhp slammed mx5 checking in

Sup guys,

Thought i better show my face after attending the Cleaned ace cafe meet. Was a great turnout and big thanks to Will for saying to bring my car on in!

Some might recognise it, some might not








Recognised a good few of the cars and they all looked epic! this was its look last year for those that might have saw it at shows or from mags




Hopefully i'l be able to get my self over to the next Cleaned-uk meets now i know about them haha.

Have seen this in pics on the XXR's and absolutely love it mate, fair play! What's the engine spec to be running that power then? Sounds like an all round belter tbf!

Cheers guys, here are the very basics of the turbo conversion:

Garrett GT2560R Ball bearing turbo
Begi Cast T25 manifold
Begi front mount intercooler
Begi Large bore stainless steel divorced gas downpipe
2.5" Straight through exhaust to 3" tip
RC Engineering 550cc injectors
F1 racing paddle clutch
MegaSquirt PNP ECU with Electronic boost control
Innovate Wideband O2 sensor
Turbo XS Knocklight
Boost/oil temp/AFR gauges

All mapped up to a current figure of 301bhp but may lower it back to 250bhp for safety and longevity.

Welcome! More boosted MX5 goodness Very tidy looking, did You turbo it yourself? Looks the same as mine from engine spec! Recognise it off nuts with the 527's.

As said on the fb pic posted today, im loving this, its those side runners/diffusers that do it for me. and its good to see its got a bit of power.

A mod could probably move this to the build section as its already got a good few pics on it with current spec

Here's a quick update of what's been going down recently.

I ditched the ducktail as i wanted a smoother look, some people i know prefer the ducktail but ahhh well.



Next up i wanted to go a little lower but couldn't with my helper springs still in so had those removed, to play it safe i also got the engine raised on the mounts and a sup guard fabricated up so i dont go smashing that up on cats eyes etc! *no current pics of guard or mount raisers*

Not long back i received a huge order from the awesome guys at Project-G, they hooked me up with some awesome parts and a couple for some UK customers.
