MX5 Newbie

Hello chaps,

I'm Jonny.. And am new here. I've heard the forum name around various circles for a while but never really signed up for some reason, so here I am.

I own an MX5, plenty moan at us for 'ruining a brilliant sports car', but some of us aren't really bothered about the sports car side of these cars and either prefer the look of them, or the way they drive. I like both, and had fun with it as a 'sports car', I've done the Nurburgring in it, various weekends hooning around Wales and England.. But decided I wanted it for low and slow, now.

Plans; Have some side skirts here that need fitting, some wider rear spacers (15mm) and (10mm) for the front. Then start doing stuff inside the car too.

Kind of yeah. I'm in Hindhead, literally less than 5mins from the tunnel. Click on my thread and have a look, its been off the road for a year though.

Ah cool, not far away! I work at the Mazda dealer in Milford and regularly tunnel run up at Hindhead

Will check out your thread. Also saw your post about the Guildford convoy for the meet next month, down for that.

Nice MX looks sweet, not seen it around though.. I'm kicking around the Godalming area... if you two are interested there is a local meet in gford that's been around abour 6months. It started VAG... but now it's more a Clean/stanced and chilled meet if ya lot roll up be nice to meet you both (and other locals)


Monthly Guildford Meet:
First Monday of every month
Summer = Newlands Corner
Winter = Shalford Road Carpark
18:30 onwards

I work in Milford, live in Guildford so usually in that kind of area.. I don't go out and about much of the time as I don't really know of any meets around here

haha yeh not sure if we're winter time or not!... I'll ask them. Yup this coming monday! I work shifts so I hope to be there! but need to check what shift I'm on!
