| Want to replace my pikey rear speakers and my dodgy 'edge' fronts.
And I NEED a sub.
Sub has to be JL audio - 6.5, 8 or 10" no bigger and not too heavy although I am taking out my seats haha!
Speakers, fronts need to be 13cm with tweeters, rears must be 4x6. And must match each other make wise.
Amp - whatya got haha? | |

| Can i ask why your sub HAS TO BE JL audio? Also depends on what kind of music you listen to to what size sub you get...? | |

| Because I'm a snob... and no it depends on what weight I can have in the back of my car!!! Anything bigger than 10" in my price range will be too heavy and I'll have to put my minging steelies back on!!! I listen to uhhh... Terabyte Frenzy, Borgore, M83, Mord Fustang, stuff like that? I don't really do 'genres' I guess it would be bassy electro maybe? | |

Why would the weigh of a sub effect what wheels you have on? NEVER heard of that before.

| Because I'm on springs, with flat rear arches [that have been cut and flared already], and wide offset wheels - scrubbing is bad enough as it is without anything in the boot weighing the rear end down, I can't carry even one passenger in the back.
Were you actually being serious...?

| I very much doubt the weigh of a sub will make THAT much diffrence! | |

| If the weight of my weekend bag I take to my boyfriends makes a lot of difference with just ME in the car, then I think a heavy sub ALWAYS in the boot [yeah it may be fine with just me in the car] when I have a passenger would make enough difference to bother me. lol
I got a shitty sub before from halfrauds as a temporary thing, and I swear it weighed more than I did, I just took it back lol.

| get coils ??? my jl sub and amp dnt way much at all and with all the wood i got in the back (for the box and floor) it still less than a spare wheel you can get a 10" JL sub for about 70 quid and the the jl speakers and tweeters your looking at 190 quid. If you want a JL amp tht huge money!! so try audio security as they are the cheapest! | |

| I am planning on getting coilies for the rear, can't get them for the front unless I have a spare 500 though :[ Was looking on CAS but wanted maybe something second hand cuz I'm poor haha So... you got a lot of wood then? ;] I found the speakers I want from JL on some dodgy site, get fronts and rears for under 100 quid... :/ blatantly fakes though haha! I get discount at CAS too :] I need the space though aswell for all my shit I lug around to and from my boyfriends cuz he lives so far away [and girls have to bring their whole life everywhere], hence the small size too. | |

| Hmmm yeah that's what I thought! But thought if something was cheap enough it'd be worth the risk haha. And nope, you try finding coilies for my car for under 490 quid and I'll buy you a massive personalised cake! The hub and strut are one piece on the front so they're really expensive, 480 is for cheapy ones not good ones. That's why I've been running springs for the last 3 years haha! But if anyone wants to secretly buy me some...? | |
