1997 VW Golf VR6 Highline 3DR Mulberry

For sale is my 1997 VW Golf VR6 2.8 Highline in Mulberry.

I have owned the car since January 2011. Reason for sale is I need a van for work and I have to many cars in my driveway.

There are lots of receipts and a good service history. Went through the last MOT with no trouble at all. MOT runs out end of January 2012. Tax runs out 30/09/2011. Mielage is 166,000 miles.

The only modifications that hav been carried out are...
- Pipercross induction kit
- Stainless catback exhaust (sounds raspy but quiet during normal driving)
- Adjustable coilovers
- upgraded speakers and stereo (included)
- Mk4 Golf style headlights
- clear sidelights, indicators etc.
- Scorpion SA30 alarm and immobiliser (2xFobs)

The rest of the car is original including the VR6 alloys.

Has has full service recently and new oil in last 2 months.

Recent work carried out

- seat guides replaced
- new plugs
- ALL filter replaced including pollen filter, oil, fuel
- abs sensors replaced
- new exhaust hangers
- brakes cleaned and bled
- new offside window regulator
- new starter motor
- new sump

There is some rust on the passenger side door at the bottom of the window. Some slight bubbling around a couple of arches.

All the electrics work a they should, windows, sunroof, heated seats, mirrors, demisters. The car has the standard purple Mullberry interior. These are in good condition.

Does not leak oil from anywhere. The camchain hasn't been replaced (no receipts) but there is no rattle while running. Runs well picks up quick and makes a lovely raspy noise! All in all a great little car in need of a good home!
