Southeast convoy to New Year Launch (27.2.11)

Right, some people on facebook were asking about this. Looks like theres a fair few coming from this end of the country. So lets smash out a massive convoy the whole way up.

We'll first meet in Guildford, probably by Burgerking/Halfords ect (GU1 1AJ) as its the easiest option.
Then we'll be going up the A3 to the M25, which will take us past Heathrow then onto the M1 i presume.
Aslong as stated where we can stop at anytime to pick people up on the way.

Lets get a list of people/where we're meeting them to make life simpler.

I usually get onto the M25 at junction 9 (or 6 if round the gf's) so I can meet anywhere on the M25 if need be?

What time are we thinking of going?

Google maps says 1hour 34mins, so to be there by 1pm, lets leave at 11am, that gives us plenty of time to pick people up, stop for petrol if anyone needs to ectect. Sound good?

probs be easiest wouldnt it or are you coming past or near essex on the way at all.

just AA route planner the post code of where the meet is from mine and its only 2 hours. so i can either meet you somehwere on the way but think you lot will be going the othe way round the M25 to me... so probs just meet you lot there. all depends on what i am feeling a few days before. could be up for a convoy if i got the moneys for petrol as my car only does 230miles to £50 of fuel. but could just drive straight there but convoys are always fun.

will no point you lot coming to south mimms as you will have to double back on yourselves ( unless ya wanna haha) otherwise anyone up around north london south mimms 11ish then leave about 11.15 meet up with a few guys from luton along the way then hopefully bump into (not literally) some of the MK lot????
