And a quick power graph Will get some pictures tomorrow with the new spacers on it, widened the track just a little! Cheers Nick

Nice motor mate, how have you managed to squeeze 20bhp out of a notoriously difficult to tune lump? What mods have you done?

| Cheers all! Fred666 + jnc90 - I've got a aftermarket Carbon Inlet Manifold, my car was used as development for the Manifold. Will get a picture of it tomorrow, its a gorgeous piece of kit and changes how the powers delivered which is the main about it! Check these graphs... With standard inlet manifold - With new inlet manifold - If you look at the two figures with the new Manifold is provides more torque from lower rpm and holds it longer at higher rpm. Also makes peak power on the limiter or near enough which is perfect for track, as well as a lot more power throughout the whole rev range! Also with such smooth power/torque curves you'll always put your foot down and it will pull and then it'll keep going and going! Oh and a cheeky video! | |

| I did notice how smooth the power curve was when i 1st glanced at the graph, but as im used to turbos i thought nothing of it lol thats one hell of a gain from a simple mod! The 172's don't have much torque out of the box so that must be a welcome mod... Good stuff fella | |
