Ladies, Gentlemen, Boys and Girls,
Since last year's organised meet was way more of a success than anyone could have imagined I have decided to host yet another NORTH of ENGLAND meet at Bolton Abbey. Regions members which attended last years meet were from Yorkshire, North East, North West, West Mids and East Mids and even Scotland!!!!!
I'm hoping this years will be just as much of a success.
Date: Sunday 25th April 2010
Location: Bolton Abbey, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 6EX
Time: 13:00
Plan of Action:
The plan of action will be for all regions interested in attending organising their own convoys to the location to arrive at 13:00. Once there we will have a social, grab a few photos and depending on the weather maybe have a kick around with a footy or lounge in the sun and have some food.
Saxperience has been authorised by the staff at Bolton Abbey to host this event again this year and will have a specifically courdoned off area so we can all park together. LAst year we reserved space for 30 cars and in excess of 60 arrived and parked!!!! This space may not be big enough for all attending if it's as epic as 2009, however there are spaces nearby so we wo't be spread out all over the car park!!!
I HAVE NOW RESERVED A SPACE FOR CARS WHICH SHOULD BE AMPLE
Eating:
Last year everyone made their own arrangements for food. Some had disposable BBQ's, others brought sarnies, someone even brough a massive table with a feast fit for a king!!! Make your own arrangements. There is actually a cafe there if all else fails
Other Info:
Admission - £6.00 per car
Dogs are welcome off the lead (!)
Litter - Bins are provided, but they ask for you to take it home.
Barbecues - Welcome in Sandholme Car Park (this is where we are parking - this is second car park on right).
Noise - No music, so advice would be to keep noise to a MIN - ie NO loud stereos or blatting of exhausts!!!
Speed Humps - There are a few bumps but we should be allowed to avoid all on the day.
From there:
Once everyone has had enough and wants to depart they may do so at their leisure.
Let's hope and pray for good weather and let's make this best pre-seson meet we've ever attended.
