I've been thinking whether to get rid of the 106 and get a Saxo, or seeing as they're the same base shell and just about every panel on mine needs replacing bar one wing and a bumper (yes, even the roodf haha!), or whether to just replace them all in Saxo parts as i planned on having it resprayed anyway? As i got the car really cheap anyway (£190).

It would be garaged for a year while the works done though, what do we think? Heres how i want it to look, except i have an idea for different lights, i'll have a 106 spoiler, no god awful DTM's, and probably different wheels:



Basically all i've done is smooth the boot, smooth the curve out of the bottom of the bumper, added a number plate recess, smoothed the bump strips off the side trims, and removed the indicator. And delocked/dewipered it.

theres a fair few of us on here with Saxo's/106's stick with/get which ever you want, but either way it'll be a good base for a lovely car.

Yeah that my first car. back like 2 and half year ago lol

but first.... i smoothed the boot, made the rear bumper, smoothed the VT badge on the strips, (the DTMs were smoothed also, wish i had sense back then) lol

gotta say though you've photoshopped a little lol however please dont smooth the side strips, it looks gash, get rid of the indicator though,

i loved that car

lol i dunno man, i suppose if it'll work out cheaper go for it keep certain bits though i kinda like the 106 fronts when smoothed an it'll be different like a vw bolf!!!

Yeah i do prefer the 106's om a way, they're less common imo. But then they're so expensive, good condition GTI bumpers for the front are £90+ Skirts kits are £80 if in good nick with all clips, rear bumpers are cheaper but still £50 odd.

Saxo parts seem to be so much cheaper! I will be keeping a 106 spoiler as the saxo ones just look stuck on! Looks a bti cheap imo.

Haha didn't know that was your old car dude, i just googled for a good pic Looks nice though, minus DTM's haha! I quite like the smoothed side trims too :\

parts are hell to buy well pricey anyways im looking for things for my car and talking loads of moneys i dont have haha
